Wall hangings
Our hangings favor clear geometry, even fringe, and cotton that softens with time rather than glitter or excess ornament. Pieces are planned for Finnish interiors: mid-width panels for hallways, quieter strips for bedrooms, and plant cradles for kitchens where light is kind. Every commission begins with a wall measurement and a conversation about how dense you want the field to feel.
Ready pieces & commissions
Small finished hangings rotate on the atelier wall when hours are open — you can try them against daylight and leave with a piece the same afternoon. Larger commissions take longer: we sketch density, choose cord weight, and send a progress note after the first third of knotting. Color stays mostly in the chalk-to-brick range unless you request a plant-dyed accent.
Plant hangers use the same knot language as wall panels, scaled for pots you already own. Bring the pot diameter or write with a photo; we confirm the cradle depth before cutting cords.
Before and after density
Structure appears slowly. The paired views below show how a loose dowel setup becomes a squared field. That shift is what we teach in workshops and what we protect in commissions — even rows, honest fringe, and no rush to fill every centimeter of wall.
Care
Shake gently outdoors to release dust. Spot-clean with a damp cloth; avoid soaking a full panel. Keep hangings away from continuous steam and direct radiators. Cotton may settle a little after hanging — we leave a small allowance for that when we trim fringe.
